Wisdom Wednesday #2: Book of the Month -Eat, Pray, Love

Wisdom Wednesdays #2: Book of the Month -"Eat, Pray, Love"

Patrick's Selected Reading: "Eat, Pray, Love"

Currently, I am reading a biography about a woman lost and trying to find herself through a spiritual journey she takes. How did I come to feel inspired to read this book or give this work any attention? Well it all started when my big sister, April had introduced me to the movie "Eat, Pray, Love" directed by Ryan Murphy starring Julia Roberts. It was a lovely movie. A movie filled with drama and soul and love. I fell IN love with the movie and after watching the movie I thought to myself, "hmmm if the movie is THIS good I wonder what the book could offer me. Maybe more because there's only so much you can put in a movie." So then my book journey begins. Join me! I will be posting a post every week about the spiritual lessons I learn along the way as I read more and more and MORE!

Introduction to Why and What "Eat, Pray, Love" is all about in general.

This book from what I understood is a biography by Elizabeth Gilbert. She's a married woman who realizes how unhappy her marriage really is, and that her life needs to go in a different direction. After a painful divorce she takes off on a round-the-world journey to "find herself" It's funny to note that the places she travels are Italy, India, and Indonesia, all of these places are places that begin with the letter "I" what a fitting way to create a story so cleaver yet so powerful. A spiritual story of self-discovery to exotic places that begin with "I" I love this relationship I can draw to Law of Attraction the MOST powerful law in the Universe. All of our power all of our potential to create what we desire begins and starts with our self, our authentic self. The world, our reality, is sort of like the mirror to our feelings, our thoughts, and our vibrational countenance reflecting back the experiences we hold within. It all starts with "I"

Tune-in next week for our journey to Italy where we'll learn more about Elizabeth Gilbert's journey and her discovery of love and passion and food in hopes to learn more and more about ourselves and LOA.
