Manifestation Monday #7: Money Lessons at the Casino

Temporary Absence

Today is Manifestation Monday. I have not been on this blog for a while, but hopefully my co-author has been entertaining you with wonderful stories about his own experiences as well as memorable quotes to help you get through the week.

A Streak of Luck?

Since its Manifestation Monday, I'm here to share with you my own experience from last week. It may be a small experience for some but it was a reconfirming experience that I can attract money in my life. I went to the casino a little over a week and a half ago and by chance I was invited with no strings attached. My own secret agenda was to see how far I can attract money into my life with the simplicity of having fun. So without telling anybody, I decided to take this experience with great ease. I'm usually a person who feels a bit unlucky in the area of gambling but since I was invited with no money to lose, I decided to turn my thought process around.

From the beginning of the bus ride to a casino I've never been to before, I remain enthusiastic and excited. I imagined what it would be like to win a small amount of money that I could take home to my family. I did not want to psych myself out of it by imagining something bigger than I could imagine taking home, at least not yet. I was dazzled by the many different machines and the curiosity of the floor plan. I physically explored others playing and winning and felt genuine joy for the winners. At the same time I thought "Wouldn't it to it be nice to win something tonight?" Then I dismissed the thought as well.

I made it a point to have fun no matter whether I won or lost and to remain in the joyous state for as long as possible. A friend and I explored the area for a little while before deciding to sit at a machine that piqued our interest. It so happened to be a machine related to my favorite machine that was taken away about a year ago. I was overjoyed to find a similar machine and followed my instinct to play one of these machines. Something kept pulling me to a machine that another person was (same machines), so I stayed on a machine next to this other person while waiting for them to finish playing. It didn't take too long for them to finish because it just so happen they received a call and was urged to leave.

Money Results

It's a good thing they left because I ended up staying on the same machine for the rest of the evening. I had played only with the money that the casino gave plus $10 that my friend loaned me. The end results of my evening added up to $105. $20 I gave back to my brother-in-law for covering my ride to the casino and $15 back to my friend for loaning me the money. My take-home was $80 of which I gave $20 to my mother-in-law, $20 to my oldest son, $20 to my youngest son and lastly $20 for myself. I don't know what came over me that I had the urge to spread the wealth and I guess it came from the feeling that I was "already wealthy".

Lesson Learned - Perfect Timing

I believe there was a lesson learned because I sat next to a person on that bus ride who explained that with gambling you have to expect you are there to enjoy your time and not to think about it as a winning or losing game. It was in that conversation I had an "aha" moment which caused a transformation in my thought process for the rest of the evening.

Shortly after the successful trip, I was able to receive bits of money here and there throughout the rest of the week, all without expecting or asking anybody for it. With every bit of money I received, it snowballed my thoughts into thinking that I didn't have to worry about money anymore because it would find it's way into my hands naturally and in perfect timing.
